Disneyland Paris

I’m
so excited to finally share this post about Disneyland Paris. My husband and I
went to this amazing place as part of our honeymoon back in October 2017. In
this post I’m going to write about all the details of our day there including
how we got there, how much we paid for the park tickets, how was the food, the
rides, the shows, and everything in between. Disneyland Paris it’s a must place to visit if you are a fan of Disneyland. We only got time to visit one park, and we couldn’t ever finish going on all the rides because there is literally a lot of stuff to do there. I really want to go and visit this park again including taking time to visit the Walt Disney Studios Park.
Tickets
We
bought our tickets in advanced through the Disneyland Paris website, just a few
days before. This is a must, because we saved a ton of money by doing this. We
paid 98 euros for two Mini Day Park Tickets (that’s the name of the ticket if
you go off season) that means we paid 120 dollars for two park tickets to
Disneyland! If you are visiting Paris for a week or so, you should really check
which day is cheaper to go to Disneyland (they have a calendar on their
website) is something they have over there and you should really take advantage
of it. At Paris, there are also two parks like in California they have the Disneyland
Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. You can buy a ticket for the two parks on
one day, or a ticket for each park each day, I recommend the latter since both
parks are really big with a lot of attractions and shows.
Traveling
to Disneyland Paris
You
can get to the parks directly from the airport, by car or by train. We took the
train from the center of Paris to the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station,
which is located just from a 2-minute walk from the entrance to both Disneyland
parks in Paris. It was very convenient, and hello, no car traffic.
The
Rides
The
rides are very different from the parks in California. Although some rides have
the same name like Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean, they are very
different. For example, the Indiana Jones is a roller coaster in Paris, instead
of an underground attraction like in California. And yes, it’s still awesome.
The
shows and parades
The
shows and parades are a must in Disneyland Paris because it’s a culture mix. You
can hear part of them in French and part of them in English. I really enjoyed
Mickey and his friend saying Bonjour.
The
food
You
can get in the park with your own food, which of course, we didn’t do. So we
bought a cheeseburger combo at Café Hyperion located at Discoveryland. Our
combo included a cheeseburger, French fries, yogurt with granola and a soda. It
was a very delicious meal and the place was amazing because it has futuristic
design and a big screen like the Drive-In theatre, where they were screening Rebels
from the Star Wars franchise, and my husband and I were really into it hahaha.
Síganme a Disneyland Paris
Estoy muy emocionada por compartirles sobre mi experiencia en Disneyland Paris. Mi esposo y yo fuimos a este maravilloso lugar como una parada dentro de nuestra luna de miel en Octubre del 2017. En este post voy a escribir sobre todos los detalles de nuestro día ahí, desde como llegamos, cuanto pagamos por los boletos, como estaba la comida, los juegos, los shows, y más.
Boletos
Nosotros compramos los boletos en adelantado por medio del website de Disneyland, justo unos días antes de nuestra visita. Esto es algo que les súper recomiendo porque se van a ahorrar mucho dinero así. Nosotros pagamos 98 euros por dos boletos Mini Day (así se llama el boleto de entrada al parque cuando no es temporada alta) que son 120 dólares en total por dos boletos de entrada a Disneyland! Si van a visitar Paris durante una semana, les recomiendo que entren al website de Disneyland Paris y revisen su calendario para que vean que día tienen boletos más baratos porque allá cambia el precio dependiendo del día. Y pueden comprar boletos para un parque en un día, dos parques en un día, o dos parques en dos días. Yo les recomiendo que vayan a los dos parques en dos días porque si hay muchas atracciones allá.
Como llegar a Disneyland Paris
Pueden llegar a Disneyland Paris desde el aeropuerto, en automóvil o por tren. Nosotros tomamos el tren desde el Centro de Paris hacia la parada Marne-la-Vallé/Chessy que está justo a dos minutos caminando de la entrada de los dos parques de Disneyland en Paris. Esto fue algo muy conveniente porque nos ahorramos todo el tráfico vehicular.
Los juegos
Los juegos son muy diferentes a los parques de Disneyland en California. Y aunque algunos tienen hasta el mismo nombre, no tienen nada que ver como los de Piratas del Caribe y el de Indiana Jones. Por ejemplo, el juego de Indiana Jones en Paris es una montaña rusa y en California, es una atracción bajo tierra. Y aunque nada que ver uno con el otro, seguía siendo un juego muy divertido.
Los shows y desfiles
Los shows y desfiles en Disneyland Paris son algo que definitivamente no se pueden perder porque son una celebración de culturas. Todos los shows y desfiles son parte en inglés y otra parte en francés. A mi me encantó escuchar a Mickey y todos los demás personajes decir Bonjour.
La comida
Al parque puedes entrar con tu propia comida, y por su puesto nosotros nos acabamos toda la comida en el tren antes de llegar, entonces comimos en uno de los restaurantes del parque llamado Café Hyperion ubicado en el área de Discoveryland. Los dos pedimos un combo de hamburguesa con queso, papas fritas, yogurt con granola, y una soda. Fue una comida muy deliciosa la verdad y el lugar me encantó aún más porque tenía un diseño futurístico con una gran pantalla como en el cine al aire libre, en donde estaban pasando el programa Rebels de la Saga de Star Wars, y mi esposo y yo casi nos quedamos una hora viendo diferentes episodios.
