A Romantic Dinner at Agave Tequileria and Restaurant
I really really love El Agave Restaurant and
Tequileria.
My fiancé and I went to this restaurant located in Old
Town this past weekend for a romantic dinner, and I loved the whole experience.
The setting was perfect, with the walls decorated with Tequila bottles like a
museum, and with the lighting setting a romantic mood.
We started our evening with some drinks of course, my
fiancé order the CUCUMBER & AVOCADO DELIGHT (Mezcal joven from Oaxaca,
lemon juice, agave nectar, ginger beer, cucumber and avocado with sun dried
tomato and black salt on the rim), and I had the EL AGAVE HOUSE MARGARITA (El
Agave Artesanal Silver Premium Tequila, Fresh lime juice and triple sec). I
tasted both drinks, and they were both delicious.
We ordered a calamari appetizer, and the plate was
beautifully display and of course tasted amazing.
I loved that this restaurant has seafood and meat
under a Fine Mexican cuisine, my fiancé ordered shrimp and I had the Tampiqueña
plate which includes a mole enchilada, beans and guacamole. The plates also
included tortillas, yum.
For dessert, we split a CAJETA FLAN and a CAFÉ DIABLO.
I definitively plan of going back to another romantic
dinner with my fiancé or for some drinks with my girlfriends at their patio. It
is an amazing place to get fine food, drinks, and dessert.

Mi prometido y yo fuimos a este restaurant ubicado en Old Town, para una cena romántica, este pasado fin de semana, y me encantó toda la experiencia. El lugar fue perfecto, con su pared de Tequilas como si fuera un museo, y con la baja luz que pone un ambiente romántico.
Claro que empezamos nuestra tarde con unas bebidas, mi prometido ordenó el MEZCALITA PEPINO Y AGUACATE, y yo pedí EL AGAVE HOUSE MARGARITA, probé las dos bebidas, y ambas estaban deliciosas.
Ordenamos como aperitivo unos calamares, y el plato estaba acomodado hermoso y claro que también sabía delicioso.
Me encanta que este restaurant cuenta con mariscos y carnes bajo una fina cocina Mexicana, mi prometido ordenó camarones y yo pedí el plato que se llama Tampiqueña que tenía carne, una enchilada de mole, frijoles y guacamole. Los platillos incluían tortillas.
Para postre, compartimos un FLAN DE CAJETA y un CAFÉ DIABLO.
Definitivamente planeo regresar para otra cena romántica con mi prometido o para tomar algunas bebidas con mis amigas en el patio. Es un gran lugar para comida fina, bebidas y postre.
